Privacy Policy

What We Collect

Pixl Bot collects and stores the following data to provide its features:

Server Data

Section titled “Server Data”
  • Server ID - To associate settings with your server
  • Channel IDs - For configured log channels, ticket categories, etc.
  • Role IDs - For reaction roles, button roles, and permissions
  • Message IDs - For reaction roles, starboard, and giveaways

User Data

Section titled “User Data”
  • User IDs - To track moderation history, warnings, ticket participants
  • Usernames - Stored in logs for identification (at time of action)

Message Data

Section titled “Message Data”
  • Message content - Only stored when:
    • Message logging is enabled (deleted/edited messages)
    • Ticket transcripts are generated
  • Message metadata - Author, timestamp, channel

Moderation Data

  • Warnings and cases - Reason, moderator, timestamp
  • Notes - Staff notes on users

How We Use Data

Data is used exclusively to:

  1. Provide bot functionality (logging, moderation, tickets, etc.)
  2. Maintain moderation history
  3. Generate ticket transcripts
  4. Track giveaway/poll entries

We do not:

  • Sell or share data with third parties
  • Use data for advertising
  • Use data for purposes beyond bot functionality
  • Access data unless required for support

Data Retention

Configurable Retention

Server administrators can set a retention period (7-365 days) using:

/settings retention <days>

After this period, the following data is automatically deleted:

  • Message logs
  • Ticket transcripts

Permanent Data

Some data is retained until manually deleted:

  • Moderation cases and warnings
  • Server settings
  • Reaction/button role configurations

Server Removal

Section titled “Server Removal”

When the bot is removed from a server:

  • Settings are retained for 30 days (in case of re-add)
  • After 30 days, all server data is permanently deleted

Data Storage

  • Data is stored on secure servers
  • Database access is restricted to essential operations
  • We use encryption for sensitive data

Your Rights

Server Administrators

You can:

  • View stored settings: /settings view
  • Delete message logs by disabling logging
  • Set retention periods
  • Remove the bot (triggers data deletion after 30 days)

Users

You can:

  • Request your data by contacting us
  • Request deletion of your data

Children’s Privacy

Pixl Bot is designed for use with Discord, which requires users to be 13+. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy. Significant changes will be announced in our Discord server.
